About

About Blue Star Ferries

Blue Star Ferries is one of Greece's largest passenger ferry operators and a member of the Attica Group, alongside sister brands Superfast Ferries, Hellenic Seaways and ANEK Lines. The company was legally established as Blue Star Maritime S.A. in 1993 and carries a maritime heritage dating back to the Strintzis Lines shipping company, adopting the Blue Star name in the early 2000s. Headquartered in Athens, it has built a reputation for a modern, comfortable Ro-Pax fleet and reliable year-round scheduled service to the Greek islands.

Operating primarily out of the port of Piraeus, Blue Star Ferries connects mainland Greece with the Cyclades (including Paros, Naxos, Syros, Mykonos and Santorini), the Dodecanese (including Rhodes, Kos, Patmos and Leros), the islands of the North and Northeast Aegean, and Crete. Its fleet consists of named vessels such as Blue Star Delos, Blue Star Patmos, Blue Star Naxos, Blue Star Paros and Blue Star Myconos. As part of Attica Group — which runs a combined fleet of over 30 vessels serving more than 55 destinations — Blue Star Ferries is a central pillar of Greece's domestic ferry network.
