What we do
We collect and standardise ferry timetables from hundreds of operators and present them in one consistent format: when the ferry leaves, how long the crossing takes, who runs it, which days it sails, and — where published — what it costs. Every route has its own page with a live “next departure”, the full timetable, and answers to the questions travellers actually ask.
Where our data comes from
We aggregate published schedules from three kinds of source, in order of preference:
- Official operator APIsDirect, real-time feeds from ferry companies — the most reliable source, used wherever available.
- Open transit feeds (GTFS)Public, standardised schedule data published by transport authorities and operators.
- Operator websitesPublished timetables and fare tables, parsed and standardised into one consistent format.
How we keep it accurate
Timetables are refreshed on a rolling schedule and re-checked when operators publish seasonal changes. Sailings still change with the weather, demand and the time of year, so every page carries the same honest reminder: always confirm with the operator before you travel. Found something out of date? Tell us — corrections are the fastest way the data improves.
How we stay free
The site is supported by advertising. We don't sell tickets and have no commercial stake in which ferry you choose — our only goal is to show accurate, useful information quickly. That independence is the point: there's no incentive to nudge you toward one operator over another.
Serhat Özçelik
Founder & Editor
Ferry Schedule Hub is built and maintained by Serhat Özçelik, its founder. He builds travel-data products and oversees how ferry timetables, operators and crossing data are sourced, cross-checked and kept up to date. Spotted something wrong on a page? Send a correction — it goes straight to the editor.
Accurate first
Clear, current data beats clever features. When in doubt, we say so.
Independent
No tickets sold, no operator favoured — just the facts of each crossing.
