Fast Ferries Schedules 2026

Fast Ferries works the Cyclades out of Rafina and Piraeus, and it also runs something most Cycladic operators do not: a service in the northern Aegean, from Alexandroupoli near the Turkish border out to Samothraki and Limnos. Two very different seas under one name.

Rafina is the base, not Piraeus

The busiest legs in our data all radiate from Rafina, the smaller Attic port north of Athens: Rafina to Tinos, Andros and Mykonos. Rafina is closer to the airport than Piraeus and the crossings from it are shorter, which is why an operator built around Andros and Tinos uses it as the hub.

Andros is 115 minutes, Santorini is ten hours

The spread on this operator is wide. Rafina to Andros runs 115 to 120 minutes; Rafina to Mykonos takes 260 to 280; and Piraeus to Santorini is timetabled between 595 and 675 minutes — ten to eleven hours. The same operator sells a two-hour hop and a full day at sea.

The short hop nobody notices

Tinos to Mykonos is 30 to 35 minutes, and Ios to Santorini is 75. On an island network where most legs are counted in hours, these are the ones that make a two-island day possible — and they are also the ones that fill first in August.

Times vary by sailing, not just by route

Nearly every pair here carries more than one duration. Tinos to Rafina appears at 210, 230 and 240 minutes; Mykonos to Rafina at 260, 275 and 285. The difference is the calling pattern — a sailing that stops at Tinos on the way from Mykonos is longer than one that runs direct. Read the individual departure rather than the route average.

Eighteen islands, four mainland ports

The published network reaches Andros, Tinos, Syros, Mykonos, Naxos, Paros, Kythnos, Serifos, Sifnos, Kimolos, Milos, Sikinos, Folegandros, Ios and Santorini in the Cyclades, plus Samothraki, Limnos and Agios Efstratios in the north. Departures run from Rafina, Piraeus, Lavrio and Alexandroupoli. Our timetable covers the Rafina and Piraeus side; the northern Aegean services are not in our data.

Book the direction you need separately

The legs are not symmetrical in frequency. We hold three departures on Tinos to Rafina against two on the outbound, and three from Mykonos back to Rafina against two going out. On a summer network where boats fill, checking the return as its own problem rather than assuming a mirror is the practical habit.
