Sifnos is where the line turns around. The boat arrives from Piraeus at 11:55, carries on to Milos at 12:15, and is back alongside in time to leave at 14:35 — after which two separate entries appear for the same 14:35 departure, one for Serifos and one for Piraeus, because the return sailing calls at Serifos on the way.
Milos is 80 minutes out; Serifos 45; Piraeus 310 minutes on the afternoon run against 295 in the morning. The Milos leg has no return entry of its own in the database, which is the outer end of the route showing up as a gap rather than a service.
The island is known for two things that reinforce each other: a pottery tradition worked in local clay, still visible in the chimneyed workshops along the coast, and a reputation for cooking — Nikolaos Tselementes, whose name became the Greek word for a cookbook, was born here.
