About the Bari – Durrës crossing
Bari to Durrës is the shorter of the two Italy–Albania crossings and the one that runs every day of the year. Adria Ferries sails it overnight — 22:00 arriving 08:00 for most of the year, 23:00 arriving 08:00 from mid-July through the autumn — and adds a daytime sailing at 12:00 arriving 20:00 between 15 July and 14 September and again around the New Year.
Nine to ten hours, depending on the season and the departure. Italy and Albania share a time zone, so the arrival time is exactly what the timetable says. Grandi Navi Veloci and Ventouris Ferries work the same crossing, which is why the port sees several departures on a summer evening.
Adria's deck passage starts at €62 in low season, €108 in high; a reclining seat €67–116, an inside cabin without facilities from €70. A car is €104–170, a motorcycle €46–68, and bicycles and animals travel free. Bari's ferry terminal is north of the old town, walkable from the station in about twenty minutes.
