About the Ancona – Durrës crossing
Sixteen hours from the Marche coast to Albania, overnight, on Adria Ferries. Between 1 July and 14 September the crossing runs daily, leaving Ancona at 17:00 and berthing at Durrës at 09:00 the next morning. Outside those weeks it drops to three sailings — Tuesday and Thursday at 19:00 arriving 11:00, Saturday at 17:00 arriving 09:00.
Italy and Albania keep the same time, so the printed hours are the real ones. The length of the passage means a cabin is worth the money: inside berths start around €98 in low season, outside cabins with shower run to €270 at the August peak. Deck passage is €90 low season, €145 high; a reclining seat a little more.
