About

About Lite Ferries

Lite Shipping Corporation, also known as Lite Ferries, was established in 1990 by its Boholano founder, president, and CEO, Lucio E. Lim Jr. The company initiated its operations by acquiring its first RO-RO cargo passenger boat, linking Loon, Bohol, and Argao, Cebu. It is recognized for pioneering several key shipping routes throughout the Visayas-Mindanao region, including its initial connection and the Samboan, Cebu to Dapitan, Zamboanga del Norte route, which was introduced in 2009.

Demonstrating its commitment to future growth, Lite Shipping Corporation began the construction of its Corporate Building and the upcoming Lite Port Center Cebu in January 2016. This development is situated on M.J. Cuenco Avenue in Cebu. Beyond passenger and cargo transport, the company also offers Lite Box, a dedicated service for convenient, swift, and cost-effective package shipping across its operational network.
