Kapetan Luka — trading as Krilo — runs fast catamarans along the Croatian Adriatic, a company it describes as more than a century old.

The long southern run

Krilo Tropic works the route that strings the Dalmatian islands together: Split – Brač (Milna) – Hvar – Korčula – Mljet (Pomena) – Dubrovnik, leaving Split at 08:00. It is the crossing that makes island-hopping possible without returning to the mainland each time.

Fares, and what they tell you about distance

Prices scale with how far out you go. The northern islands are cheap — Mali Lošinj, Silba, Ilovik, Susak and Unije from €4.65. The Split cluster sits in the middle: Split €7.70, Milna €7.70, Hvar and Vis €8.50, Supetar €10. The far south is the expensive end: Korčula, Bol and Dubrovnik from €20, and Mljet from €40. Pula and Zadar come in at €10.62.

Where the boat is now

The company publishes live fleet positions and posts delays as they happen — on a summer route where boarding queues are the main cause of lost time, a catamaran can leave Split three-quarters of an hour late simply because of the number of passengers embarking.

Tickets are bought online, with an info centre and support centre published separately. The site runs in Croatian and English.
