Tubigon to Talisay Ferry

The Tubigon to Talisay ferry is the Bohol-to-Cebu direction of Lite Ferries' southern RoRo crossing, linking the Tubigon seaport on Bohol's western coast with the Talisay City South Harbor just south of Cebu City. Landing at Talisay rather than the Cebu City piers puts arriving passengers south of the metro's congestion, and because Talisay is one of the closer Cebu ports to Bohol, this roll-on/roll-off passage is comparatively short at around two hours — roughly an hour quicker than the Ouano/Mandaue RoRo run.

Boats have typically left Tubigon at about 4:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM, arriving at Talisay roughly two hours later; the outbound Talisay departures pair at around 1:00 AM, 7:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM. As a RoRo vessel the ferry carries motorcycles, cars and small cargo as well as foot passengers, so Bohol riders and traders can roll straight onto Cebu soil. Fares are budget-friendly — a base of about ₱250, economy near ₱330, tourist class around ₱390 and business class close to ₱450, with infants under two free and vehicle tariffs charged separately by size.

The Tubigon and Talisay South Harbor terminals offer basic ticketing and waiting facilities. As with the outbound leg, there is an important caveat: this Talisay crossing has run intermittently and has been listed at times as temporarily suspended, so travellers should confirm with Lite Ferries that the sailing is operating on their date before committing to it. If it is running, arrive at Tubigon at least an hour before departure — earlier if loading a vehicle — and carry a valid government ID for boarding.
