Thirteen minutes is the scheduled crossing time for the one-nautical-mile route across the Storfjorden. This domestic Norwegian service is provided by the regional transport authority, FRAM. The crossing is part of Norwegian County Road 63.

FRAM currently lists 57 sailings on the timetable every day. The first departure is scheduled for 06:15 and the last at 23:15. Pricing is determined by the Norwegian AutoPASS system, which typically charges for vehicles based on length while foot passengers travel for free.

The two directions are not searched equally — not even close

This is one of the most lopsided pairs on the site. Eidsdal to Linge is searched roughly eleven times more often than Linge to Eidsdal, even though the return leg actually runs more sailings — 66 against 57. People plan the outbound and assume the way back.

Why the demand is seasonal rather than local

A thirteen-minute fjord crossing with this much search interest is not being looked up by the people who live either side of it; they know the times. The volume comes from visitors routing between the Geiranger area and the Romsdal valleys, where this ferry is an unavoidable link in the chain. That also means the crossing fills in July in a way it never does in November.
