Palma to Dénia Ferry

The return sea route from Palma de Mallorca to Dénia carries travellers from the Balearic capital back to the Spanish mainland at the Costa Blanca port of Dénia, in Alicante province. As with the outbound direction, this is a longer inter-island crossing rather than a quick hop, and the great majority of sailings call at Ibiza before reaching the mainland.

Leaving the port of Palma, the ship crosses to Eivissa in Ibiza, pauses to load and unload, then completes the leg to Dénia. End to end, allow around 5 hours or a little longer depending on the connection times at Ibiza. A handful of departures may be timed more tightly than others, so it pays to compare the schedule rather than assume every sailing takes the same time.

Dénia is one of the most convenient mainland gateways: from the port you are quickly onto the AP-7 corridor for Valencia to the north or Alicante to the south, which makes this a popular finish for drivers heading home from a Balearic holiday. Frequency peaks in summer and drops back in winter, when the Ibiza call is a standard part of the routing. Book ahead for peak dates, especially with a vehicle.
