Ouano to Ormoc Ferry

This overnight-style RoRo sailing runs from the Ouano Wharf in Mandaue City, Metro Cebu, across the Camotes Sea to Ormoc City on the western coast of Leyte. It is operated by Lite Ferries (Lite Shipping Corporation) as a roll-on/roll-off service, carrying walk-on passengers alongside cars, motorcycles, buses and cargo trucks between Cebu and Leyte.

The Ouano-to-Ormoc leg is scheduled as a late-night departure, typically leaving Ouano around 11:00 PM, with the crossing lasting roughly six to seven hours so the vessel reaches Ormoc in the early morning. This timing suits travellers who want to save a day and a hotel night, or who are moving a vehicle or freight to Leyte and prefer to arrive at dawn. It is the slower, cheaper counterpart to the daytime fastcraft that also link Cebu and Ormoc; the trade-off is a longer passage in exchange for lower fares and the ability to bring a car or truck.

Ouano Wharf is Lite Ferries' own Mandaue terminal, conveniently placed for Cebu City and Mactan-Cebu International Airport, while the Ormoc end lands you at Leyte's principal western port, with onward bus and jeepney connections to Tacloban and the rest of the island. Passenger fares are low, broadly starting near ₱300 for standard seating and higher for tourist or air-conditioned accommodation, with vehicle charges set by size at the terminal.
