Liloan to Ormoc Ferry

The Liloan to Ormoc crossing is an overnight roll-on/roll-off run operated by Lite Ferries, linking the port town of Liloan in Cebu province with the west-coast city of Ormoc, Leyte. This is not the Liloan at the southern tip of Southern Leyte (the one that faces Surigao del Norte) — the ferry here departs from Liloan's pier in Cebu and cuts east across the Camotes Sea to reach Ormoc Bay.

Sailings are usually scheduled at night, with departures around 11:00 PM and arrival into Ormoc near 6:00 AM, giving a crossing of roughly six hours. Because it is a RORO vessel, the boat carries far more than foot passengers: motorcycles, private cars, delivery vans and rolling cargo drive straight on and off, which makes the route popular with traders and road-trippers moving between Cebu and Leyte without unloading their vehicles.
