About the Split – Supetar crossing
Fourteen sailings a day, from five in the morning until one minute before midnight. Jadrolinija’s route 631 is the main road to Brač, and between 1 June and 30 September every one of those fourteen departures runs seven days a week — there is no reduced Sunday version of the high-season timetable. The crossing is 50 minutes over about seven nautical miles.
The 23:59 boat is not a typo
The last departure from Split leaves at 23:59 and the last one back from Supetar at 22:45. That pairing is worth reading carefully: you can reach Brač after a late arrival in Split, but you cannot do the reverse and get back the same night. The late boat is there for people going home to the island, not for day trips.
What changes on 1 October
The winter timetable drops to twelve crossings and moves several of them — 08:00 becomes 07:30, the 15:00 and 15:45 pair disappears, 16:30 and 18:15 appear instead. One sailing also stops being daily: the 05:00 departure does not run on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. Both seasons are listed here, so the times you see change with the date you are travelling.
A line that no longer has an off-season
For 2026 Jadrolinija removed the third, thinnest season from this route. It now runs on two schedules across the whole year rather than three, which in practice means the quiet months are better served than they used to be. Foot passenger fares start around €6.50; vehicles are priced separately and by size.

About Brač (Bol & Supetar)
Brač has two ferry front doors. The workhorse is the Split–Supetar car ferry (Jadrolinija line 631), a roughly 50-minute crossing that runs all year, takes vehicles, and lands you on the island's north coast. In summer a passenger-only catamaran sails straight to Bol on the south coast in about an hour, dropping you a short walk from Zlatni Rat, the famous shape-shifting beach. Which you pick depends on whether you want a car, and when you travel.
