Santa Cruz de Tenerife to Cádiz Ferry

The link between Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Cádiz is the classic ferry crossing between the Canary Islands and mainland Spain - the busiest and most established of the long Atlantic routes. Typical sailings run in the region of 38 to 42 hours, but the duration depends heavily on the ship and whether the itinerary calls at other Canary ports. On a direct, high-capacity run with the Volcán de Tinamar the crossing can be as quick as about 32 hours, while longer routings that serve intermediate islands stretch the schedule considerably further. The route generally operates around three times a week, making it the most frequent of the Tenerife-mainland options.
