Ferries from Norddeich

Norddeich is the mainland gateway to two very different islands. Reederei Frisia has sailed from here for more than 150 years, and the mole carries two separate berths: Fährbrücke 2 for Norderney, beside the main terminal, and Fährbrücke 1 on the western side for Juist.

Which berth, which rules

Norderney sails at regular intervals all year, 60 minutes, and takes cars. Juist is tide-dependent with usually one sailing a day, about 90 minutes, no cars at all, and luggage checked in before boarding. Read your ticket for the berth.

Getting here

Norddeich Mole station is at the pier — trains run inland from a platform a short walk from the gangway. The ferry company also operates the car parks, and its Frisonaut platform bundles ferry, parking and island levy in one booking.
