⚠ One sailing is not a service

Utbjoa has a single departure and Hufthamar two. Those are not thin versions of the Ranavik run — they are a different kind of connection, often timed for one specific errand, and they do not run every day.

Stord

One of the more industrial islands on this coast, with a large yard at Eldøyane that has built and maintained offshore platforms for decades. Leirvik is its town — shops, hospital, college — and the service centre for the smaller islands around it.

Stord has an airport and is linked to the mainland by the Trekantsambandet bridges and tunnels, so the boats here serve the islands rather than the mainland.

Not the car ferry

These are passenger boats. The vehicle crossing from this district is Skjersholmane to Ranavik, a separate quay on the same island going to a similarly named place.
