Reederei Cassen Eils is the historic seaside-ferry company of Cuxhaven in Germany, founded in 1952 by Captain Cassen Eils. The oldest active Helgoland shipping line, it has been part of the AG Ems group since 2010.
Cuxhaven to Helgoland
Its flagship run carries passengers year-round from Cuxhaven to Helgoland, the remote red-cliffed island in the German Bight — about two and a half hours by ferry or half that by fast catamaran — with further Helgoland departures from Büsum, Bremerhaven and Hooksiel. It is also the only operator on the Cuxhaven–Neuwerk route and runs seal-bank and estuary excursions.

The purpose-built seaside ship MS Helgoland (2015) was the first German-flagged newbuild with LNG-powered engines and carries the Blue Angel eco-label; the catamaran Nordlicht II works the fast service, alongside classic ships like Funny Girl. Fares are in euros, booked through the company's shop.
