About the Seixal – Barreiro crossing
A ten-minute hop across a branch of the estuary, and one of the few TTSL services that does not touch Lisbon at all. Four sailings, Saturdays only, from 10.15 to 16.45.
Connecting two south-bank towns
Both ends have their own line into the capital — Seixal to Cais do Sodré (1.08 million passengers in 2025), Barreiro to Terreiro do Paço (11.2 million). This crossing links them to each other instead, saving a long road detour around the Seixal bay.

With four boats on one day of the week, this is the thinnest scheduled service in TTSL's network. Children under four travel free across all its routes, under a decree dated 31 December 1948 that still governs the fare rules.
