About the Plaza of Nations – Yaletown crossing
Plaza of Nations across to Yaletown, connecting the north-east basin with the district that anchors downtown's waterfront.
Expo 86 built this shoreline
Plaza of Nations is a direct survivor of the World's Fair, and the Aquabus is the other one: the company had grown from one boat to four by the time Expo opened, and spent 1986 ferrying visitors between the site's waterfront pavilions. The rest of the creek's transformation from industrial land to city followed.
