About the IloiloBacolod (BREDCO) crossing

Six sailings a day between Iloilo and the BREDCO port at Bacolod, from 07.20 to 17.30 — a 75-minute crossing of the Guimaras Strait between Panay and Negros.

Two operators, and a caveat about one of them

OceanJet lists four of the six departures under a timetable dated August 2026. Two further sailings are recorded for SuperCat, but SuperCat's own schedules page does not currently list this route — it shows only Batangas–Calapan, Cebu–Ormoc and Cebu–Tagbilaran. Bacolod–Iloilo appears on the company's history page as a 1997 addition and was still being served at the end of 2019. Treat the SuperCat departures here as unconfirmed and check with the operator before travelling.

The port matters

BREDCO is Bacolod's dedicated passenger terminal, distinct from the city's commercial wharf, and is where the fast craft berth.

Vehicles, pets & onboard

  • Axe-bow hulls built in Cebu
  • Online refund and rebooking
  • Published travel advisories

Onboard facilities and vehicle, pet and luggage policies vary by operator and vessel; confirm details with the operator before booking.
