Islands of the gulf
Munalaid is the hub for the little islands, linking to Kihnu, Manilaid and, further out, Ringsu on remote Ruhnu — which is also reachable directly from Pärnu. Over on the coast, Virtsu runs the frequent shuttle to Kuivastu on Muhu, the road bridge to Saaremaa.

These are small-scale crossings that lean heavily on the summer season; the Virtsu–Kuivastu link is the busy year-round exception, running throughout the day.
