About
About Badore Jetty (Tarzan)
Badore Jetty, also known as Tarzan, runs four sailings between 06:30 and 15:30 on a ten-minute crossing to Ijede on the far side of the lagoon. Badore sits at the eastern end of the Lekki peninsula, where the road route round the head of the lagoon to Ijede is a journey of many kilometres through heavy traffic; the boat crosses directly. This is one of the busier corridors in the Lagos ferry network by demand, though the scheduled service is only four boats a day and private operators fill the gaps. Ijede on the far shore is in Ikorodu, and the crossing links two rapidly growing suburbs that the road network connects only by a long inland loop.
