About

About Turyol

Turyol is the largest private ferry operator in Turkey, with a dual identity: it runs busy commuter boats across the waters of Istanbul and international crossings to the Greek islands of the Aegean. Founded in 1995 and based in Istanbul, it carries around 50,000 passengers a day in the city alone.

Istanbul and the Aegean

In Istanbul, its passenger ferries link some nineteen piers across the Bosphorus, the Golden Horn and the Sea of Marmara — Eminönü, Karaköy, Üsküdar, Kadıköy, Beşiktaş and the Princes' Islands among them. On the Aegean it runs Turkey–Greek island lines including Ayvalık–Lesbos, Çeşme–Chios and Kuşadası–Samos, some carrying cars.

Fleet and fares

Turyol runs a large fleet of around seventy vessels, from small commuter ferries to car ferries and tour boats. Istanbul fares are in Turkish lira and the international island tickets in euros, booked through the operator's site.
