SNAV runs hydrofoils, catamarans and fast ships out of Naples, and in our data it holds the shortest crossing in the entire Bay of Naples: Ischia to Procida in ten minutes.

Ten minutes between two islands

That crossing runs twice in our timetable, at 07:10 and 17:40. Ten minutes is shorter than the walk from most Naples hotels to the Molo Beverello. It is also the leg that turns Procida — the smallest and least-visited of the three — from a separate trip into a stop on the way to somewhere else.

Naples to Capri in fifty, Procida in forty

Naples to Capri is timetabled at 50 minutes with departures at 07:00 and 10:15; Naples to Procida at 40, at 08:30 and 16:20. Sorrento to Capri adds a 30-minute midday run. All seven departures we hold run every day of the week.

The seven o'clock boat is not for tourists

A 07:00 Naples–Capri and a 07:10 Ischia–Procida are commuter sailings. The bay islands have permanent populations, schools and hospitals on the mainland; the first boats of the day carry people to work, and the visitor traffic arrives on the mid-morning departures. If you want a quiet crossing, the early one is almost always the answer.

Fast craft, and what that costs you

SNAV’s bay services are fast passenger vessels rather than car ferries. You cannot bring a vehicle, and on Capri that is irrelevant because visitor cars are barred anyway — but for Ischia, which does allow cars, choosing SNAV means choosing to arrive on foot. That is usually the right call in summer, when the island’s roads are the bottleneck rather than the sea.

Four routes and seven departures is a small slice of what SNAV operates; the company also runs longer Tyrrhenian services well beyond the bay. Absence from this page means we do not hold the sailing, not that it does not exist.
