About
About SNAV
SNAV (Società di Navigazione Alta Velocità) is a pioneer of high-speed passenger sea transport in Italy, based in Naples and part of the MSC / Aponte group. From its origins around 1960 in the Rodriquez hydrofoil tradition, it has specialised in fast connections across the Gulf of Naples and beyond.
Naples, the islands and the Adriatic
Its fast craft link Naples with Ischia, Procida and Capri and, in summer, with the Aeolian Islands (Lipari, Vulcano, Stromboli) and the Pontine Islands. Across the Adriatic it runs seasonal services from Ancona and Pescara to Croatia (Split, Stari Grad, Hvar), while longer Mediterranean routes are operated in coordination with sister company GNV.
Fleet and fares
SNAV operates a mixed fleet of high-speed catamarans, hydrofoils and fast cruise ferries. Fares are in euros and sold by route and season through the operator's booking system.
