Ferries from Sorrento

Crossings from Sorrento range from 20 to 40 minutes, connecting this port in Italy's Campania region with two destinations in the Gulf of Naples. The shortest journey available is the 20-minute fast ferry service to the island of Capri. The longest direct route takes 40 minutes to reach the port of Naples on the Italian mainland.

Sorrento ferry routes and operators

Four ferry operators run services from the port. Alilauro, Caremar, NLG, and SNAV all provide connections to both Capri and Naples. These are domestic Italian routes only, with no international services operating from this location. The port facilitates passenger-only hydrofoil and fast ferry services.

Travellers use this port primarily for day trips to Capri or as a transport link to the major regional hub of Naples. All sailings are direct. The two routes from this port are operated year-round, with increased frequency during the high season to accommodate passenger demand between the Sorrentine Peninsula, Capri, and the mainland.
