About

About Mavi Transfer

Mavi Transfer is a Dalaman-based ground transport company that also runs organised crossings to Symi. That distinction matters: this is not a scheduled ferry. There is no single ticket to buy and no vehicle deck. What it sells are packages on boutique boats carrying 8 to 12 people, departing from Datça harbour, with the crossing taking about an hour.

The four programmes

Monday and Thursday are day trips — meet at Datça harbour at 09.30, free time on Symi, return departure at 17.30. Tuesday to Wednesday is a one-night package leaving at 10.00 and returning from Symi at 15.30, with roughly two hours of swimming stops on the way back in fair weather. Friday to Sunday is the two-night version, same 10.00 out and 15.30 back.

Prices are per package, not per crossing

The day trip is €175 per person, all-inclusive. One night is €225 per person (€500 for two sharing), two nights €350 per person, and hotel accommodation instead of sleeping aboard adds €50 per person. Guests who prefer the boat get a private double cabin.

Documents — read this before booking

There is no visa on arrival for this crossing. Turkish passengers need a green (official) passport or a valid Schengen visa; EU citizens need no visa; an EU residence permit is also accepted. The Turkish exit levy is paid by the passenger. Requests must be submitted at least five days ahead, and no payment is taken at booking — a deposit link follows once the request is approved.

The rest of the business

On land the company has run airport and private transfers since 2011 across Dalaman, Datça, Marmaris, Selimiye, Bozburun, Akyaka, Fethiye and Bodrum, with a vehicle fleet ranging from sedans to 25-seat midibuses, flight tracking and 24-hour operation. Because Datça sits at the far end of the Reşadiye peninsula — around two hours from Dalaman airport — the road transfer and the boat are commonly booked together.
