Fortune Ferry Schedules 2026

Fortune Ferry works the inner harbour and the western Lantau coast: North Point–Kwun Tong–Kai Tak, Central–Hung Hom, Central–West Kowloon, and the long run Tuen Mun–Tung Chung–Sha Lo Wan–Tai O.

The newest route

Central Pier 9 to West Kowloon opened on 10 November 2025: about eight minutes, every 30 minutes. Weekdays it runs from 08:00 to 21:45 out of Central and 08:15 to 22:00 back; weekends and public holidays it runs later, to 22:45 and 23:00. Adults pay HK$20, children, seniors and disabled passengers HK$10, and a monthly pass is HK$560. Bicycles are HK$20, as is each 0.1 m³ of cargo.

The official harbour tour

Fortune Ferry operates the Hong Kong Water Taxi and is the only Victoria Harbour sightseeing route officially recognised by the Hong Kong government, passing the observation wheel, the IFC tower, the Tsim Sha Tsui promenade, the Avenue of Stars and the West Kowloon Cultural District.

Going to Tai O

The Tuen Mun–Tai O timetable changed on 15 December 2025. Before setting out, the government publishes a live crowd-information platform for Tai O — real-time visitor density, streaming camera views, weather and public transport status — because the stilt village fills quickly on good weekends.
