About Corsica Linea
Corsica Linea is the principal ferry operator between mainland France and Corsica. It was born in January 2016 from the collapse of the historic state line SNCM, when a consortium of Corsican interests took over its ships and its island service.
Corsica and the Maghreb
From Marseille, Corsica Linea sails year-round to the four Corsican ports of Bastia, Ajaccio, L'Île-Rousse and Propriano under the island's public-service delegation (continuité territoriale). Unusually for a Corsican operator, it also runs regular Maghreb crossings — Marseille to Algiers, Béjaïa and Skikda in Algeria and to Tunis — with seasonal sailings from Sète.
Fleet and decarbonisation
The fleet of around nine ships includes the cruise-ferries Pascal Paoli, Paglia Orba, Monte d'Oro and Danielle Casanova. The company is switching to cleaner fuel: A Galeotta (2023) was its first LNG-powered ferry, joined in 2026 by the new LNG E-Flexer Capu Rossu, part of a target to cut CO₂ by 40% by 2030. Cabins and reclining seats are sold in euros, varying by route and season.
