About the Prvić Luka – Šepurine crossing
Prvić Luka and Prvić Šepurine are the only two settlements on Prvić, a tiny car-free island of barely 2.5 km² lying just off Vodice and Šibenik. They sit a short distance apart on the same island, so this crossing is really the middle of Jadrolinija's Šibenik–Zlarin–Prvić–Vodice passenger boat, which calls at Prvić Luka and then continues to Šepurine as consecutive stops. Onboard, the hop between the two harbours is only a few minutes.
Two villages, one small island
Prvić Luka is the island's arrival point and its cultural heart. It is home to the Faust Vrančić Memorial Centre, dedicated to the 16th-century Renaissance polymath born on Prvić who sketched an early parachute and a wind-driven mill. Šepurine, on the western side, is the quieter, more residential of the two, gathered around a stone waterfront and the church of St. Roko, with a shallow, family-friendly beach.
Boat or footpath
Because both villages are on one island, many visitors skip the boat entirely and walk. A flat, well-marked coastal footpath connects Prvić Luka and Šepurine in roughly 15 to 20 minutes, passing chapels, olive groves and views back toward the mainland. The Jadrolinija boat is the sensible choice mainly when you are arriving from or heading on to Zlarin, Šibenik or Vodice and simply want to step off one stop later.
