About the Plymouth – Santander crossing
Two sailings a week cross the Bay of Biscay from Plymouth to Santander, and both take the better part of a day: 15:45 on Wednesdays arriving 13:00 the next afternoon, and 16:45 on Saturdays arriving 15:15 — twenty to twenty-one and a half hours at sea.
