The Wan Chai Star Ferry pier runs to Tsim Sha Tsui with 78 sailings from 07:20 to 22:30, an eight-minute crossing — the second of the two Star Ferry routes across Victoria Harbour, and the quieter one. It lands beside the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, which makes it the practical crossing for anyone heading to the exhibition halls or the eastern harbourfront rather than to Central. Boats run every fifteen to twenty minutes for most of the day. The fare is the same handful of Hong Kong dollars as the Central route, and the view of the island skyline from mid-harbour is arguably better on this line.
