Ferries from Ungskär brygga

Five minutes to Inlängan and 10 to Stenshamn: Ungskär's two calls are the shortest links in this outer chain. Departures run 10:15, 14:20 and 16:30 towards Stenshamn and 10:15, 14:10 and 18:05 towards Inlängan.

Twenty-one sailings a week on each leg, seven days a week under Blekingetrafiken. The last boat of the day leaves at five past six in the evening; nothing runs after that.

Ungskär is a small island in the eastern Blekinge archipelago with a summer population many times its winter one and a harbour full of wooden boats. Chains of islands served this way — each one 5 or 10 minutes from the next, all on the same three daily rounds — are what happens when a single vessel has to make every landing count: the route is a thread, and no island is a terminus.
