About Tokushima
Crossings from Tokushima range from 2 hours 15 minutes to 18 hours, connecting Japan's Shikoku island to Honshu and Kyushu. The port supports six domestic ferry routes in total. Passengers can sail to Shinmoji in Kitakyushu, Tokyo's Ariake terminal, and Wakayama. All services are for destinations within Japan.
Tokushima Ferry Operators and Routes
Two ferry companies operate services from the port. Nankai Ferry runs the short crossing to Wakayama, which takes approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. Ocean Tokyu Ferry operates the much longer sailings.
The Ocean Tokyu Ferry service connects Shikoku with the capital, taking around 18 hours to reach the Ariake terminal in Tokyo. The same operator also provides the connection to the port of Shinmoji, located in the city of Kitakyushu on Kyushu island.
