Ferries from Stenshamn brygga

Stenshamn sits between its two neighbours and the times show it: Ungskär at 10:05, 14:00 and 17:55 going one way, Inlängan at 10:30, 14:35 and 16:45 going the other, with the return legs slotted 10 to 25 minutes on either side.

Ungskär is 10 minutes away, Inlängan 15, and all four legs carry 21 sailings a week, daily.

These are the outermost inhabited islands of the Blekinge archipelago, out where the skerries thin into open Baltic. Stenshamn was a fishing and pilot community with a permanent population that has largely gone; the houses are red, wooden and close together, built facing a harbour rather than a road. A three-times-a-day service across a chain of islands this small is the arrangement that keeps them habitable.
