About
About Senoren
Senoren's boats work in pairs three times a day. The Trummenäs leg runs at 09:10, 12:55 and 17:10 inbound and 11:00, 14:45 and 19:00 outbound — five minutes each way; Ytterön takes 15 and follows the same three-part rhythm at 09:15, 13:00 and 17:15.
Twenty-one sailings a week on each leg, seven days a week. Morning, early afternoon, evening: the day has three shapes and nothing in between them.
Senoren lies east of Karlskrona among the low, wooded islands where the Blekinge coast turns towards Kalmar, and like several of its neighbours it is reached by road as well as water. What the boat provides is the lateral connection — island to island, rather than island to mainland — which no bridge on this coast has ever been built to do.
