Ferries from Sanda (Sturkö)

The same crossing takes five minutes out and ten back. Sanda to Herrgårdsviken is booked at 5; Herrgårdsviken to Sanda at 10 — the return runs at 08:45, 12:30 and 16:45, the outbound at 11:20, 15:05 and 19:20.

Trummenäs, on the mainland side, is 15 minutes in both directions. Twenty-one sailings a week on each of the four legs, every day of the week.

Sturkö is one of the larger islands in the Karlskrona archipelago and has a road bridge, which changes what the boat is for: it is not the island's lifeline but a short cut across the water to the smaller islands and to the mainland shore east of the city. Doubling the journey time in one direction usually means an extra call on the way, and on a route with landings this close together that costs five minutes.
