Ferries from Saltö Fiskhamn brygga

Brändaholm on the far side is a colony of small painted allotment cottages built in the 1930s for dockyard workers, now one of the most photographed corners of Karlskrona. Saltö itself is the old fishing harbour. Blekingetrafiken runs the boats as city transport across a harbour where the water route between two points is routinely shorter than the road.
