Ferries from Ramsö

Six domestic ferry routes connect the island of Ramsö to three other ports in the Bohuslän region of Sweden. All services from this small island port are operated by Västtrafik. Connections run to Koster Ekenäs and Koster Långegärde on the Koster Islands, and to Strömstad Norra Hamnen on the mainland.

Ramsö Ferry Connections

The port sits within the Kosterhavet National Park, Sweden's first marine national park. It provides passenger ferry links across the Skagerrak strait waters that separate the islands from the Swedish mainland. Västtrafik is the sole operator managing the sailings from the island.

The network links Ramsö with its island neighbours and the mainland town of Strömstad. The three destinations served are Koster Ekenäs, Koster Långegärde, and Strömstad Norra Hamnen. This network facilitates travel throughout this part of the Bohuslän archipelago.
