Ferries from Håknäs brygga

Håknäs is a stop on a boat that starts and ends its day in Norrtälje. The 08:30 from the town takes 35 minutes to get here; the 19:40 back takes 40. In between, the Gräddö connection runs 09:05 inbound and 19:25 outbound, 15 minutes each way.

Seven sailings a week on each leg — one a day, every day. The 40-minute run up the Norrtäljeviken is the longest leg in this part of the Roslagen network by a clear margin.

Norrtälje sits at the head of a long inlet rather than on open water, which is why the boat needs most of an hour to reach the outer archipelago from it. Håknäs is one of the first calls after the narrows open out. A single daily round trip, timed to leave in the morning and return at night, is the classic shape of a service built for people staying on the islands rather than commuting from them.
