Ferries from Göteborg Kungsportsplatsen

Kungsportsplatsen is the central departure point for Göteborg's Paddan boats, which run through the seventeenth-century moat and out into the harbour — 18 sailings between 11:00 and 18:10, ten to fifteen minutes to the other city quays. Strömma operates them. The boats are built low enough to pass under the city's bridges, one of which has barely any clearance at all, and the route crosses the canal system that survives from the Dutch-designed fortifications. The boats pass under the Osthyveln bridge, whose clearance is low enough that passengers are asked to duck as the vessel goes through. Fiskekyrkan and Lejontrappan are the other city stops, each a short hop along the canal.
