Ferries from Fläskö

The asymmetry here is the point. Fläskö to Dyngö is 11 minutes on the 17:00; Dyngö to Fläskö is 5 minutes on the morning run. Florön, in the other direction, is 4 minutes out and 8 minutes back.

Neither difference is distance — it is the direction the circuit is running. Outbound in the morning the boat takes the direct line; on the return leg in the afternoon it calls at intermediate landings, and the same stretch of water gains six or seven minutes.

Fifteen sailings a week to Florön and five on the evening Dyngö leg, weekdays only, with Västtrafik. This is a small island in the northern Bohuslän archipelago off Fjällbacka, in an area where the granite is bare, the channels are narrow, and a boat that serves eight landings has to thread rather than cross.
