About Dyrön södra
Dyrön's southern landing works two legs of very different length: Risön at 15 minutes, Rökan at 24 to 25. Four sailings a week on each, spread between 08:30 and 18:45.
The outbound and inbound halves sit at opposite ends of the day — boats leave for Rökan at 08:45 and come back at 10:45, then repeat in the afternoon.
Dyrön is one of the car-free islands off Tjörn, a fishing community of a few hundred people where the houses stand close together above a small harbour and everything moves by handcart. Västtrafik runs the boats. Two day patterns cover the routes, and a service of sixteen movements a week is what a permanent population of this size supports.
