Ferries from Bredavik brygga

Almost every departure here runs on its own calendar. The Karlskrona sailings go at 07:10 on weekdays, 08:10 daily, 11:45 daily and 19:55 on Fridays and Saturdays only — four departures, three different day patterns, 19 sailings a week.

The Herrgårdsviken leg adds two more: 09:00 every day, then 15:00 and 17:00 at weekends. Crossings are 20 minutes to the city and 15 to Tjurkö.

That Friday-and-Saturday 19:55 is the giveaway. A weekday boat leaving at ten past seven in the morning serves people who work in Karlskrona; a late-evening one only at the end of the week serves people going out in it. Blekingetrafiken runs the archipelago as ordinary public transport, and this jetty gets both kinds of passenger on the same route.
