Ferries from Björkholmen brygga

Björkholmen's four services all run six times a week and all of them inside the working day — 09:50 to 16:50, with nothing before ten or after five.

Saltö Fiskhamn and Kungsbrotrappan are both a few minutes away across the water, the longer of the two timetabled at 20 minutes — 24 movements a week in all.

Björkholmen is the old shipwrights' quarter of Karlskrona, a grid of small wooden houses built for the naval dockyard's craftsmen from the 1680s onward and named street by street after Swedish warships. Blekingetrafiken runs the boats as city transport on a single daily calendar. This is a harbour where the crossings are shorter than the walk round, which is the whole reason they exist.
