Ferries from Basteviksholmarna brygga

Basteviksholmarna has two scheduled sailings around 11:00 and 15:30, forty minutes to Lysekil. These are small islands in the Gullmarn inlet, and the crossing is long by archipelago standards because the boat works round the fjord rather than straight across it. Uddevalla Skärgårdsbåtar runs it in the summer months only. Two departures make a day trip possible but leave no margin for missing one. Lysekil at the fjord mouth is the district's main town and the transfer point for the larger archipelago boats. The islands have summer houses and no permanent population, so the service exists for two months of the year and no more.
