About Ankarudden brygga
Ankarudden is the mainland quay for the Landsort route, six to fifteen minutes to Krokskär, with 40 sailings between 06:48 and 19:40. Waxholmsbolaget operates it. The quay is at the end of a long road south from Nynäshamn, and it exists solely as the transfer point for the outer islands — there is little there beyond the pier and a car park. Sailings are considerably reduced outside the summer season. Krokskär, the intermediate call, is a transfer point where passengers change between the mainland boat and the smaller island vessels. Landsort at the end of the route is the archipelago's southernmost inhabited island.
