Sky Marine is the ferry-operating side of Phoenix Marin Ltd, a Rhodes company working the Dodecanese–Turkey crossings since 1997. It owns and operates two fast catamarans, on Fethiye–Rhodes and Bodrum–Kos, and acts as agent on the wider network of Greek–Turkish links sold through its e-Ferry booking platform.

Owned routes and sold routes

The distinction matters when something goes wrong. On Fethiye–Rhodes and Bodrum–Kos the company is the carrier. On the rest — Turgutreis–Kalymnos, Turgutreis–Leros, Turgutreis–Kos, Kaş–Kastellorizo, Kuşadası–Samos and Patmos, Çeşme–Chios, Ayvalık–Lesvos, and Bodrum links to Rhodes, Symi, Patmos, Leros and Kalymnos — it sells tickets for boats other companies run. Turgutreis–Kalymnos is flagged on its own site as a new route.

Where the offices are

Rhodes Mandraki Marina at the tourist port, and Yalos on Symi. The company holds ISM certification, is audited by port state control, and complies with the ISPS security code — unusually explicit documentation for an operator of this size.

What the crossing actually involves

These are international sailings and the formalities take longer than the sea passage. Be at the port at least an hour before departure for passport control. You must collect a boarding card from the check-in desk first — without it you cannot pass through passport and customs gates at all. Reservations can be made up to one hour before departure, online or by phone, but passport details (name, date of birth, passport number, nationality) are required at the time of booking, not at the port.

On board

A kiosk in the main saloon sells coffee, tea, juice, water, cake and crisps. Seats are not numbered — you sit where you like. Personal luggage is carried within reasonable weight and size, but anything heavy or bulky enough to need a customs declaration can only travel by cargo ship, not with you.

Prices vary by route and season and are quoted through the booking system rather than published as a table. Port taxes are not included in the fare shown — budget for them separately on the Turkish side.
