About
About Aegean Flying Dolphins
Aegean Flying Dolphins runs the fast "flying dolphin" hydrofoils of the Saronic Gulf in Greece, the passenger-only high-speed boats that dart out from Piraeus to the islands nearest Athens. Faster than the car ferries, they carry travellers and day-trippers but no vehicles.
Around the Saronic Gulf
Its hydrofoils link Piraeus with Aegina and Agistri, including the short Aegina–Agistri hop in the Saronic Gulf, and it also runs a separate fast service in the Sporades between Volos, Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos. The classic "flying dolphin" hydrofoils skim across the water at high speed.
Fleet and fares
The company operates a small fleet of high-speed hydrofoils. Fares are in euros, sold online and through agencies. (It is a separate company from the similarly-named former Minoan Flying Dolphins, now Hellenic Seaways.)
