Crossings from Velsen Zuid take about 6 minutes to reach the other side of the North Sea Canal. The sole operator from this terminal is GVB, which runs the short, frequent commuter-style service to Velsen Noord. This connection is one of two routes available from the Velsen area.
GVB provides a direct link between Velsen Zuid and Velsen Noord. It is a domestic-only route within the Netherlands, connecting two parts of the municipality of Velsen separated by the canal.
